Here’s a list of the most common things we are asked about voxpopuk.com – if the information you need isn’t covered here please contact us vai the contacts page and we will aim to get back to you within 48 hours.
How do I complete a survey?
It’s easy – just click the link and you will be allowed to complete the survey once you have given us your email address. Don’t worry about giving you us your email address as we won’t pass this on to any other organisation and promise not to bug you with unnecessary emails (see our data protection policy in full at the bottom of the page).
However if you want to complete a survey but would like to be eligible for the prizes on offer you will need to become a member of voxpopuk.com – becoming a member takes a couple of minutes and we will require us taking a few details from you such as sex, age and the area you are from – once we have them you will have a membership id and password and are then eligible to complete all our surveys and enter yourself automatically to the prize draw attached to each survey. We will also send you a welcome email. The same privacy policy applies to the information you supply us with as for non being a member – it is really just for us to be able to verify participation in each survey.
How will I know about new surveys?
You can either just re-visit the voxpopuk.com site from time to time, add an RSS link to your computer’s homepage so you get updated automatically or opt in to receive news from us – our newsletters let you know when new surveys are launched and also supplies you with feedback of the results of previous surveys, so you can see how your opinions compare with others!
How will I know if I have won a prize?
We’ll send you an email notifying you – that’s one of the reasons we need your e-details when you become a member. Past and current prizewinners are listed on our prizewinners page but only if prizewinners confirm to us that they ate happy to be name checked.
I am interested in organising a survey for the company or organisation that I work for or represent - how do I go about this?

What happens to the information I provide by completing a survey?
All information collected during the surveys you complete are used for market research purposes only for our clients. All information collected from surveys is collected together ensuring individual anonymity. We only provide our clients with statistical analysis of the complete survey batch not for each individual.
Often the research we gather is used by the media and appears in newspaper and magazine articles.
I can’t log in, what do I do?
If you can’t remember your password, click here, and we’ll send you a password reminder via email. If you know your password, but still are unable to log in, simply email us at info@voxpopuk.com and let us know the full name you registered with and your date of birth so that we can access your details on our database.
Help, I can’t open a survey!
Each survey opens into another browser page; if the survey is not visible immediately, you may need to switch over to the new window.
If that is not the case, it may be that the software you have installed on your computer is not fully compatible with our own. We recommend that you use one of the latest browers available; they are more secure and will come with all the plug-ins needed to run our surveys. You can download a new browser free by clicking here.
How many people complete each survey?
Most of our surveys are completed by 500, 1,000 or 2,000 respondents which means you have a 1in 500 to 1 in 2,000 chance of winning each time you complete a survey.
How do I cancel my membership?
Simply unsubscribe by going into ‘My Profile’ and clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page. If you cannot remember your password, and wish to unsubscribe, please fill in the contact form by clicking here. Please be sure to provide us with the full name you used when you registered, as well as your date of birth so that we can find you in our database.
How do I update my profile?
Once logged in, you will see the link to ‘My Profile’ in the navigation menu along the top of the screen. Here, you will see some of your general information, and a link to follow if you wish to update your personal details.
What if I find a mistake in a survey?

I want to send a survey to my friends how do I do this?
It’s easy just complete a survey and an option to send to a friend will appear. Alternatively use the Recommend to a Friend box on the right hand side panel.
